Housing Options

Dorm-style Lodges (comprised of cabins)

We offer four separate floor plans for our 22 cabins. All cabins are comprised of bunk rooms with their own bathroom including shower stalls, toilet stalls and sinks. All cabins have central heating.

Black Elk Lodge Houses 140 guests, includes 13 cabins which house from 10 to 20 guests each. Cabins: Geronimo, Bald Wolf, Winnemucca, Massasoit, Red Plume, Red Cloud, Big Bear, Fleet Foot, Shavano, Blue Fox, Deer Foot, Papoose and Little Chief

Chisca​ Houses 64 guests, includes two large lobbies, six cabins which house 10 guests each and one apartment that is suitable for a family of four. Cabins: War Eagle, Bear Clow, Wolf Robe, Red Dawn, Montezuma and Black Hawk

Ogalala​ Houses 70 guests, includes one lobby and five cabins which house 14-16 guests each. Cabins:​ Alpine, Tin Cup, St. Elmo, Romely and Hancock

Pathfinder​ Houses 30 guests, includes two cabins which house 14 and 16 guests each. Cabins:​ Comanche, Arapahoe and Wontani

Lariat Houses 58 guests, includes a fully furnished kitchen for preparing group meals, a lobby that doubles as a meeting space and 5 cabins which house 6-16 guests each. This lodge is ideal for stand-alone groups of less than 100 people.

Hogan houses 32 guests, includes one large lobby and two cabins which house 16 guests each. Each cabin has its own bathroom. Cabins:​ Ute and Shoshone

Collorow, Roman Nose​ and Sequoyah​ each have one lobby and house 16 guests.

Aspen Lodge

Houses: Up to 12 adults

This mountain lodge will pamper your getaway needs! From the scenic overlook hot tub to the cozy fireside couch, you will savor every moment "away from it all!"

We invite our guests who are 18 years and older to come and stay. Check availability today for your small group planning retreat or reserve this facility with the rest of camp for your VIPs.

Bristlecone Lodge

Houses: Up to twelve guests (two queen beds, four bunk beds)

Enjoy fantastic vistas from the porch of this mountain getaway lodge. Reserve this facility with the rest of camp to have that "special" spot.

Bristlecone is divided into two separate floors, each with bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and fireplaces. Reserve the entire building or each floor separately. Relax by the fire and enjoy being in Colorado!

Roundup Lodge

Houses:​ Up to 32 guests (6 queen rooms and 4 bunk rooms)

This brand new lodge is the perfect balance of spacious and cozy. Complete with views of the valley, an oversized living room and kitchen, a kid's playroom and family-style suites, Round Up is the ideal place to retreat with your family and build community.

Reserve this lodge for your staff families with the rest of camp or as a stand-alone, self-sufficient small group venue.


Shop around the Trading Post, stay in one of our dorms filled with bunk beds and get ready for incredible food to be served in the dining hall.

Grab a latte at GoldBrick's, ice cream or a soft pretzel at the snack bar, ​ and get excited for club in the Kachina!


Challenge yourself on our rappelling cliff. Or head inside to the game room for a round of ping pong, pool or shuffle board!

Shoot some hoops in the gym, play sand volleyball or grab some friends for archery tag or a round of frisbee golf on our 18-hole course!

Fly through the air on our giant three person swing, slide into the pool on the mountainside water slide or relax in the hot tub!


We welcome kids of all abilities to our camps. At Frontier Ranch, all of our main buildings are accessible to strollers or wheelchairs, and we have a handful of cabins that are designed to be accessible (special housing needs may be requested by your child's trip leader).

We will also do our best to help every guest participate in activities. We want every kid to have the best week of their life as they come to camp!
