Each summer, thousands of high school students come to Frontier Ranch for a week of high adventure and a chance to consider a relationship with God in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. And they have been doing it for more than 50 years!
Are you going to be a camper this summer? Visit our Just for Campers page.
Since 1951, students from around the country have been coming with their local Young Life groups and leaders to have a great time with each other, eat great food, and make lasting memories. They meet new people from around the country, try new activities, and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented in a way teens can understand.
Whether it's galloping horseback through the pines at the base of Mt. Princeton, zipping through our high ropes course, whipping around an off-road track on a Ridge Runner, bounding off a 120-foot rappelling cliff, losing your stomach on "the Screamer," barreling down the water slide into the hot springs pool, or climbing above the clouds at almost 13,000 feet - you can count on high adventure at Frontier Ranch!
And if that is not enough ... there are other great surprises and activities ... but we don't want to spill the beans! Let's just say there is much, much more!
For quiet down-time, there are plenty of places around camp with lawn chairs, lobbies, picnic tables, and great views of the valley below for unwinding.
The Frontier Trading Post has T-shirts, books, gifts and more. At the Silver Heel Snack Bar, we offer the famous Frontier Freeze, novelty ice cream, shakes, candy bars and more!
We guarantee that our guests will have the "best week of their lives!"
Sending Mail to Camp:
A special thing about camp is the opportunity to send and receive snail mail! We love when friends or family send their campers goodies in the mail but please keep in mind that it can take 2-3 days longer than estimated to arrive at camp! Also, because there is so much mail coming into town and up to camp, please ensure that ALL mail is addressed as follows:
Camper Name - "Camper" & Dates at Camp
PO Box 2025
22150 CR 322
Buena Vista, CO 81211
Some important tips: if the company says they don't deliver to a PO Box, please add #2025 to the top line (some mail still gets routed through the local Post Office). Also, UPS/FedEx may say that the above address cannot be found - ask them to override the system and leave it as listed (our local drivers know how to find us!).
