Are you going to be a camper this summer?  Visit our Just for Campers page.

Since 1951, students from around the country have been coming with their local Young Life groups and leaders to have an unforgettable time together, eat great food, and make lasting memories. They meet new people from around the country, try new activities, and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented in a way teens can relate to.

Whether it's riding horseback through the pines at the base of Mt. Princeton, zipping through our high ropes course, bounding off a 120-foot rappelling cliff, losing your stomach on "the Screamer," barreling down the water slide into the hot springs pool, or climbing above the clouds at almost 13,000 feet - you can count on high adventure at Frontier Ranch!

For quiet down-time, there are plenty of places around camp with lawn chairs, lobbies, picnic tables, and great views of the valley below for unwinding.

The Frontier Trading Post has T-shirts, books, gifts, and more. At the Silver Heel Snack Bar, we offer the famous Frontier Freeze, novelty ice cream, shakes, candy bars, and more! Cash and card are accepted at all of our retail locations (store, snack bar, and coffee shop)!

Sending Mail to Camp:

A special thing about camp is the opportunity to send and receive snail mail! We love when friends or family send their campers goodies in the mail but please keep in mind that it can take 2-3 days longer than estimated to arrive at campIf items are being shipped to the post office, please add 2-3 days for your item to actually arrive at camp. Also, because there is so much mail coming into town and up to camp, please ensure that ALL mail is addressed as follows:

Camper Name - "Camper" & Dates at Camp

PO Box 2025

22150 CR 322

Buena Vista, CO 81211

Some important tips: if the company says they don't deliver to a PO Box, please add #2025 to the top line (some mail still gets routed through the local Post Office). Also, UPS/FedEx may say that the above address cannot be found - ask them to override the system and leave it as listed (our local drivers know how to find us!).

If mail arrives after the recipient has left camp, it will be returned to sender.

Camp Memories

"Nick's talks were by far the best talks I've ever heard."

"The most meaningful thing this week was cabin time, just talking to friends about struggles in my life."

"I learned that I needed to let go of my fears and trust Christ."

"My experience at camp was so good, I dunno what could have made it better."

"This was the best week of my life ... for real."

Young Life and Frontier Ranch maintain the highest level of safety and standards in operation of all of our activities at camp.

All of Frontier Ranch's challenge course elements (ropes course, screamer and rappelling) are inspected and approved by The Association of Challenge Course Technology and by Signature Research, Inc . All elements are operated and supervised by our staff who have been fully trained and certified to do so, ensuring your child's comfort and safety.
Frontier Ranch's Horse program is also facilitated by trained and experienced staff. Your child will be in good hands while at here.
In the event of an unexpected accident, there is always a qualified medical professional on call to tend to your child's needs. Also, if needed, the local hospital is only a short drive away.
