Welcome to Frontier Ranch!

Frontier Ranch is Young Life's original old Wild West camp dating back to the 1920s. We're located south of Denver and west of Colorado Springs in Buena Vista, CO. At the base of Mount Princeton in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, our spectacular setting includes stunning views, rugged high cliffs, majestic pine trees and a seasonal mountain stream.
Frontier Ranch has welcomed hundreds of thousands of summer campers over the years. The moment kids arrive at camp, they are welcomed with a fanfare and celebration that exceeds anything they ever expected, ensuring Young Life kids will experience nothing less than “the best week of their lives!”
Frontier Ranch operates 11 weeks of senior high Young Life camp each summer. A full summer week has occupancy for 330 campers, 70 leaders and 130 support staff. That translates to almost 5,000 campers and leaders coming to Frontier Ranch every summer!
During the school season, Young Life areas from Colorado, Texas and the Midwest use Frontier for weekend camps and ski retreats. When the camp is not in use by Young Life areas, churches, Christian schools and other Christian groups often book their weekend and week-long retreats at Frontier.
Young Life's Frontier Ranch is an equal opportunity service provider. We operate under special use permit by USDA Forrest Service. Frontier also participates in the Special Milk Program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Learn more >>>
